Identification of potential therapeutic target by phenotypic screening for proteinuric kidney diseases
By phenotypic screening, these authors have identified small molecules, that protected podocytes against injury in vitro. This findings identify pyrintegrin as a potential therapeutic candidate and show the use of podocyte-based screening assays for identifying novel therapeutics for proteinuric kidney diseases.
The prerequisite for phenotypic screening is the image quality and analysis. More and more efforts have been made by the suppliers to gain in sensitivity and rapidy for image acquisition. But the relevance of the data analysis is allow of importance for the quality of the data and the software for image deconvolution and analysis is thus also a major aspect for the choice of the HCS machine. This article explain why.

January 29 took place the official inauguration of the Biopole, the bulding where we rent a 120 m² privative facility. Many politician and representative of the Brittany region, the “Ille-et-Vilaine” department and the metropolis of Rennes were present and held to visit our facility.
