We had the pleasure to attend ELRIG Fr meeting in Bischoffsheim (near Strasbourg)  on the 23-24th of May. There we enjoyed meeting our partners Molecular Devices and Integra biosciences, and seeing great presentations about the last trends in automation. Our collaborator Karim Si-Tayeb presented his amazing results regarding the differentiation of iPSCs into mature hepatocytes in BIOMIMESYS matrix, our 3D culture technology that is compatible with automation. #intNASHday

We presented two posters there, one about BIOMIMESYS hydroscaffold and the other about neurotoxicity testing.

We also attended the first EUROoC meeting, which took place in Stuttgart (Germany) on the 24th-25th of May and was organised by the Chemical and Biological Microsystems Society. With excellent talks and keynote lectures the meeting fulfilled our expectations and was a perfect place for discussing future collaborations! We particularly appreciated the lecture of Christopher Hughes about the perfused Blood-Brain Barrier on a chip,  and of Róisín M. Owens dealing with 3D cell biology integrated with 3D conducting polymer devices. We left the meeting with plenty of ideas and new contacts in the field!
