Last month, an ambitious plan was presented in France. The goal is to place genome sequencing at the heart of clinical practice in next 10 years. It is very interesting to see that this plan puts the patient at the center to go to personalized medecine and aims at encouraging links between public research and business companies. It is a real opportunity to put France in the learder group of countries involved in genomic medicine. As we integrate CHOPIN Project (CHolesterol Personalized INnovation), We are proud to be a part of this French Plan for Genomic Medicine 2025.

The establishment of a national genomic medicine sector, which can be a lever for scientific and technological innovation, technology transfer and economic growth, will require involvement from the relevant industries along with academic research and public health bodies.
