We were proud to co-organize the previous ELRIGfr event in Rennes. 140 people attented this meeting, which was rich in presentations and exchanges during workshops and round tables about automation and innovation. We had the opportunity to attend two of these workshops:

 – A first one on pipeting calibration for robotic platform. A lot of things need to be done to harmonize and/or standardise this calibration. That would for example be the implementation of a working group within ELRIGfr that would propose a specific regulation (as it was done for single-channel pipettors).

– We also attend to the workshop on Robotic Liquid Handling (RLH) during which Pascal SILVERSMET from GSK Vaccines exposed the interest in implementing a management software for robotic plateforms. A flexible model in the form of bricks with a web-based interface, enabling automatic machine-warnings in one hand (in order to facilitate the maintenance of the park) and the use of their platform by many teams in the other hand (a scheduling tool with different levels of accreditation), seemed to interest the assembly.

Speakers, as Jean-Philippe Stephan from Servier or Anselme Perrier from ISTEM, exposed us their use of innovative technology (HCS, IPS, …) in a really interesting manner in their company. It was really interesting to have their impression on all these new technologies.

All presentations are avalaible under this link

We also wanted to thank Mme Gaëlle ANDRO, vice-president of Rennes Métropole for her support and her talk of introduction during this event !

Last thursday we celebrated our first year in Rennes Biopole. We were the first company to enter in the building in September 2014 (yes, it’s more one and a half years!) thanks to the help of “Rennes Metropole”, the owner. So, we wanted to “mark the occasion” with our partners and, of course, we wanted to thanks them ! Nothing was possible without them !

Many things occurred last year : R&D developments in many domains, first contracts with pharma industries, partnerships with equipment builders, launch of great project combining computing, engineering and biology (sorry it’s secret!) and the integration in Eurasanté program in Lille.

See you next year !

Official inauguration of the biopole Rennes

January 29 took place the official inauguration of the Biopole, the bulding where we rent a 120 m² privative facility. Many politician and representative of the Brittany region, the “Ille-et-Vilaine” department and the metropolis of Rennes were present and held to visit our facility.

We are very proud to underline this mark of interest and the support we benefit, in particular from the Metropolis of Rennes. It is always a question that matter for a young start-up to reassure its partners about its strength. So this is a very satisfactory step for us, as it will help to ensure our growth, through equipment acquisition and new recruitments.

We was very pleased to inaugurate our offices and our laboratories in the beautiful building of “Rennes Biopôle” this week. It was an important moment for us because of the presence of all our partners and supports. We want to thank them again.

You can find our supports on this page. Now, you’re welcome to visit us !
