Emergence of 3D cell culture in cell biology represents a new area of cellular culture technology. Here at HCS Pharma, we are developing innovative 3D cells models for high content analysis. In collaboration with the research unit U991 of the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Inserm), we started the collaborative project Innovcell 3D. This project is focus on the development of new hepatocytes cellular models to increase in vitro predictions and understanding of liver diseases. We like to thanks Brittany region who fund this project, and participate to the development of new 3D models in cell biology. In this project, We work also with Celenys, our partner, who develops innovative scaffold for 3D culture to better mimic the microenvironnement and thus the in vivo situation.

The involvement of 3D cell culture in cell biology is increasing every years. The global 3D cell culture market is anticipated to reach USD 1.69 billion by 2024, according to a new report by Grand View Research, Inc. HCS Pharma is glad to be part of this outgrow.
