As soon as seeded, cells will enter the pores of the matrix. With time your cells should colonize the hydroscaffold (under the form of spheroids for example). Since the hydroscaffold is composed of naturally occurring extracellular matrix components (Hyaluronic Acid, collagens), cells will be able to remodel it as they would do in vivo.
