How to seed cells in BIOMIMESYS®?

BIOMIMESYS® plates should be taken out from the fridge (4°C) for them to reach room temperature, and unpacked just before seeding.

For general applications, the cells should be resuspended within a small volume of medium, carefully loaded at the surface in the middle of each hydroscaffold without touching the matrix with the pipette tip. The drop containing cells will immediately be absorbed, and the cells will enter the pores of the matrix: from white (dehydrated hydroscaffold), BIOMIMESYS® will get translucent.

To determine the perfect number of cells for each hydroscaffold, a range of cell densities should be tested. Please feel free to contact us to get information about cells density recommendation.
