Every year, the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas is the major meeting for technological innovations for consumer market. This year, many companies (more than 600) presented products and services in the healthcare domain (including medtech and wellness). It represents a 25% increase compared to 2018.

Why is this sector becoming more important year after year? As
Lynn La (CNET editor) explains in her last article

“Younger people born between the early 1980s through early 2000s (commonly known as Millennials) are more anxious and depressed than previous generations, meanwhile, which explains the plethora of lifestyle and self-care gadgets at CES claiming to help them relax, sleep better and have smoother skin. And with the appearance of Impossible Burger 2.0, maybe they’ll even eat better too.”

In HCS Pharma we are deeply involved in the use and development of digital for healthcare because we are used to work with robots, machine learning, augmented and virtual reality, data mining, IoT monitoring devices, etc. By linking the right technologies to the right use at the right time, we can bring more added value to our customers.

To be aware of the last innovations from the CES, our CDO Grégory will be present next week (Tuesday, January 29th) in Paris at BPI France for the Interaction Healthcare event! If you wish to talk with him about these topics, contact us or DM him through Twitter!
