Next month, we will have the pleasure to participate in the 23rd EUSAAT (EUropean Society for Alternative to Animal Testing) congress, which will take place in Linz (Austria) on the 26th-28th of September.

We have proposed an abstract about how we use 3D in vitro cell culture models for recapitulating in vivo environment and improve their relevance thanks to our patented technology, called BIOMIMESYS®, as a physiological and versatile extracellular matrix (ECM) surrogate (see below).

BIOMIMESYS, as a unique hydroscaffold, mimics the biophysical properties of the ECM and thus, is close to the structure of decellularized tissues (with the advantage of being reproducible!)

If the tentative programme is confirmed, our colleague Elodie will have the pleasure to present our work topic on the second day : Wednesday, 27th September, during the Scientific sessions, Hall 1 at 3:30 pm. Her presentation is entitled: Bridging the gap between in vitro & in vivo testing: 3D cell culture taking into account the extracellular matrix.

She will be available to discuss with you at any time along the congress, before or after her oral presentation. Please feel free to contact us for any question about our work on 3D culture and BIOMIMESYS® products, or to organize an appointment with Elodie on this occasion, via this form or via this email adress:

She’s looking forward to meeting you there, and of course to participating in this outstanding event in 3Rs’ world for the first time!
