Our project leader Dr Meryl Roudaut was invited to present at the last ISVHLD congress, the Global Hepatitis Summit, in Taiwan. The theme of the summit, “Evolution and Revolution of Viral Hepatitis and Liver Disease”, was perfect to talk about the use of BIOMIMESYS® product to overcome the limitations of 2D liver models. Méryl talked about his PhD work, dealing with the differentiation of human iPSCs into liver organoids, and their characterization by RNAseq and pharmacological tests, and how this unpreceded 3D liver model can be a useful tool for drug screening.
We would like to deeply thank the organizers of the event for their support, Professor Pei-Jer Chen (president) and Professor Jia-Horng Kao (Scientific Program Chair)
We also want to thank Professor Cheng-Yuan Peng for the perfect organization of the session.
We are available for any question you might have about this project, Méryl’s results and BIOMIMESYS! Please feel free to contact us at hello@biomimesys.com
