It was really interesting to be present at the AFSSI’s “universités d’été”. About 160 business heads of CRO (contract research organisation) in biotechnology area were present. On the first day, round tables focused on current challenges of biotechnological business in France : financing and taxation of innovation, strengthening business growth, international expansion, gateway to Quebec and Canada. All participants are facing the same challenges and want to work together to answer international request.
The second day was for BtoB meetings in order to establish collaborations. For us, it was a good opportunity to learn more about financial and partnership opportunities. We have made a lot of discussions for partnership possibilities. Furthermore, We were also lucky to present our business during the elevator pitch, 5 min to convince, during the 2nd day.
