Webinar : Organ-on-chips including BIOMIMESYS® for toxicology and oncology programmes, December 14 & 16

Industry and academia are increasingly complexifying their in vitro models, not only 3D models but also organs-on-chip (OoC) in their studies. Such systems are needed for putting different tissues into contact, or to take into account flux-related aspects. BIOMIMESYS® being an ideal hydroscaffold™ for 3D cell culture, this webinar aims Read more…

Poster – BIOMIMESYS® 3D hydroscaffold a matricial microenvironment for physiological organs-on-chip (OoC)

How to make in vitro models predictive of in vivo conditions? Dynamic models hold promise for future predictive microphysiological systems (MPS). By combining BIOMIMESYS® as an ECM surrogate for 3D culture, and hiPSC-derived cells, these dynamic microfluidic systems will revolutionize the field, reproducing human tissues and predict human outcomes.

Poster – Development of a new liver-on-chip including BIOMIMESYS® technology for mimicking the liver extracellular matrix: first results and perspectives

Objective: to develop a new liver-on-chip model that includes a relevant 3D matrix for hepatic cell growth and function with the use of of BIOMIMESYS® Liver hydroscaffold for a physiological 3D hepatocyte culture. EUROcC (Organ-on-chip) conference in Stuttgart!

The first EUROoC meeting, dealing with organ-on-chip research and organized by the Chemical and Biological Microsystems Society (CBMS), will take place on the 24th-25th of May 2018 in Stuttgart (Germany).  Interestingly, this new workshop will address the engineering challenges related to the design, fabrication and implementation of organ-on-chips (OOC) and microphysiological systems. Among other Read more…
