BIOMIMESYS® hydroscaffold is the only technology for 3D cell culture based on Hyaluronic Acid (HA) crosslinked with other extracellular matrix components (Collagens, Fibronectin fragments…). It has a unique dual behaviour, with both solid scaffold and hydrogel properties, hence being considered as a hydroscaffold mimicking the extracellular matrix. BIOMIMESYS® hydroscaffold is proposed in ready-to-use 96 & 384-well plates, and other formats are available on request. With BIOMIMESYS® technology it is possible to better mimic the physiological matrix microenvironment by modulating its composition, stiffness (Young’s modulus) and porosity. Thanks to HCS Pharma patented process BIOMIMESYS® is porous, and after seeding the hydroscaffold becomes translucent for microscopic observations.
